My morning detox drink.

I’m loving my morning detox drink of simply some fresh squeezed lemon juice and freshly grated ginger. I pour hot water from my kettle over both and wait until it is cooled to a warm temp.  This is when lemon water will be the most alkalyzing.  I always eat the ginger in the bottom of my cup too:).

I try to drink my lemon ginger tea with a straw when I have one to protect my tooth enamel from the acidity of the lemon.  If I’m feeling sick with a sore throat I may add a touch of raw honey with propolis.
